Dr. Mingyuan Meng is an Assistant Professor and PhD Supervisor at Beijing Zhongguancun Academy and Zhongguancun Institute of Artificial Intelligence in China. Before this, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the School of Computer Science, the University of Sydney in Australia until Mar 2026, and a Visiting Scholar at the Institute of Translational Medicine, Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China from Jul 2024 to Jun 2025.

Dr. Meng received a BE degree from Tsinghua University in 2018, supervised by Prof. Yong Li and Prof. Beixing Deng, and then received MPhil/PhD degrees from the University of Sydney in 2021/2025, supervised by Prof. Jinman Kim, Prof. David Dagan Feng, and Prof. Lei Bi.

Dr. Meng’s research focus is deep learning for medical image analysis, especially in medical image dense prediction and image-based diagnosis/prognosis. His research projects involve medical image registration, segmentation, and reconstruction, as well as diagnosis and prognosis prediction based on multi-modal vision-language data.
